Vote or Die

I guess word had gotten out that I had painted some of the signs you see being held up during the parties national convention (true story!) so I was approached by a local politician to design his logo. So he asked me to design his logo so I'm voting for him!

Anyway, my instructions were basically, "Hey man, can you keep it simple but patriotic and have New York in the background? But don't put any cartoons in it, this has to be serious."

Can you believe that?! Cartoonists get such a bad rap! Did anybody actually think I was going to draw Calvin pissing on the state of New York? (I drew some stickers for that company too! Also a true story! But not Calvin that'd be copyright infringement!)
